Internet bandwidth
An internet speed result describes traffic to the selected measurement endpoint. The path and network conditions matter. The package’s advertised rate and a single measured result answer different questions; neither establishes performance to every website.
BDIX and local networks
Local exchange connectivity concerns connected local networks. A package may advertise a separate local rate, but that does not make it your general internet speed. Ask which services the claim covers and whether the rate is shared, limited or conditional.
Content caches
Some content can be served from a closer cache, depending on the service and network. A fast transfer from one cache does not prove that all content uses it. Catalogue cache and BDIX statements remain provider claims; unconfigured local endpoints cannot produce local measurement results.
